SDG 9

Industry, innovation and infrastructure

Economic growth, social development and climate protection depend to a large extent on investment in infrastructure, sustainable industrial development and technological progress. In the face of a rapidly changing global economic landscape and increasing inequalities, sustainable growth must include an industrialization that, first, offers opportunities for all and, second, is supported by innovation and resilient infrastructure.

What contribution can IT solutions make?

IT solutions play a central role in the modernization and digitalization of infrastructure, particularly in areas such as transport, energy supply and communication. By networking systems and implementing smart technologies, we can make processes more efficient, drive innovation and thus create the basis for sustainable industrialization.
