SDG 11

Sustainable Cities and Communities

The world population reached 8 billion in 2022, with more than half living in cities. This figure is expected to continue to rise, with 70% of people expected to live in cities by 2050. However, many of these cities are not prepared for this rapid urbanization, which is outpacing the development of housing, infrastructure and services.

What contribution can IT solutions make?

Smart cities are one of the big buzzwords of this decade. Many cities and municipalities are busy going digital and offering citizen services online. We are supporting these cities and municipalities in collecting data, creating digital infrastructure and jointly paving the way to the city of the future.
